Fracturing Chemicals

Hydraulic fracturing is the process of pumping fluid such as water and guar slurry, with a material (most commonly proppant) under high pressure into a hydrocarbon containing formation to stimulate production from new and existing oil and gas wells.  When done correctly, a fracture in the formation is created that is unable to close improving the paths for oil and gas to flow.  This radically increases the rate for at which oil and gas is produced from the formation, whereby production at an economic rate would not take place otherwise.  Although hydraulic fracturing has become a very common process the use of best in class fracturing chemicals is vital in the success of any hydraulic fracturing process.
